Yeah, 'cuz in summer you can bring a book with you when you climb a tree, and sit up there all day reading.

I love Calvin and Hobbes.

Calvin is my favorite. I'm convinced that all the truths in the Universe can be found in Calvin and Hobbes.

I'm in the last few pages of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I can't put it down, but I'm DREADING its being over. I have SO enjoyed this book! After the pressures of finishing grad school, I have been revelling in being able to read for pleasure, and have been shirking some responsibilities of laundry and cleaning to find a comfy spot to read.

Truly one of the great joys in life!

Ahhhh ... time to read. I remember that. Vaguely.

Apparently the bibliophile part of my brain has failed to check in with the mommy-of-4-demanding-kids part of my brain and keeps ordering me to buy books at the rate I always have.

The result is a veritable tower of unread books on my side of the couch. I fondle them sometimes and dream of getting to read.

*sigh*
